In the shade of an orange field in Peloponnese, with its bitterly cold and bare ground, in December of 1820, it was decided to change the land of the Balkans, and the Greeks to find ways to become masters in their land, instead of having Ottoman Empire and sultan’ authority among their heads.
“Parastates” were Representatives of Greek ancestors who decided all these in December 1820, only a few months before the heroic anniversary of March 1821. That time was the beginning of a new era, because of the Revolution of Greek people, who declared that they want to take back from Turkish people the land of Ancient Greeks.

The presence of the new generation was also remarkable, with the participation of high school students from different regions of Attica.
Parliament Speaker Konstantinos Tassoulas referred to the pre-revolutionary years and the first United Nations, political committee in 1957. However, a few hours later, the image of modern Greece, pursuing a common vision, had been disputed strongly by voices reaching out to the first floor of the Hellenic Parliament. The two parliament members of the Commission from the left party of SYRIZA, who were excluded (rightly legal as the party New Democracy declares, unconstitutional and against the laws and the Hellenic Parliament Rules as SYRIZA declares), Demetrius Tzanakopoulos & Pavlos Polakis insisted on joining the Commission, which has pre-trial power.

In the afternoon, the Parliament guards did not react but the tension peaked, verbally. The battle of impressions has been won by SYRIZA as both parliamentary member got into the committee.
No one won the battle of substance, since Greek people did not become wiser and New Democracy had a victory such as King Pyrros had won. New Democracy representatives were forced to accept these two members of SYRIZA even if the procedures of the Committee were postponed.
However, Evangelia Liakoulis, parliamentary member from KINAL accompanied by Vasillis Kegeroglou, secretary general of his Parliamentary Group, emphasized that the reaction of SYRIZA provoked the procedure, as Fruzis was not able to lodge at the Committee.
Thus, the great opening “Greece 2021” declared automatically not with happiness but by an escalation of tension between the government and the opposition.
